Clearer and more reliable variation CSV imports
Improved quantity handling, option matching, and feedback for variation edits that cannot be applied.

Variation CSV handling has received a series of corrections around quantity calculations, option identity, and the relationship between an exported sheet and the current listing. Wide-sheet imports handle their variation slots and inventory quantities more carefully, while Catalog Variations preserves existing option identities when the intended option is unchanged.
The import review also makes discarded edits to removed rows more visible. A row that no longer maps to an actionable product should not look as though its edited value was successfully applied. Read the warnings and exclusions alongside the change preview.
The two CSV formats have different jobs and limits. A wide listing sheet is not a substitute for every Catalog Variations operation, and advanced personalization or three-property edits remain restricted in those spreadsheet paths. Broader support is coming soon.
