Pricing FAQ

Everlyst pricing - every question, answered honestly.

The short version of "is it worth it?" is on the pricing page. The long version is here - value comparisons, plan differences, refund policy, data ownership, security, and what support looks like at each tier.

Is Everlyst worth it for a smaller Etsy shop?

If you have fewer than ~30 active listings and rarely change prices or tags, the free tier covers you - synced catalog, inline editing, CSV export, and limited bulk editing on title / tags / return policy / personalization. Most sellers under 100 listings don't need the paid plans until they start running real bulk price or tag updates, or want analytics and renewal optimization. The honest test is: if you spend more than 30 minutes a week clicking through listings to make the same change, the paid tiers pay back the time within a month.

How does Everlyst pricing compare to Marmalead, eRank, Vela, and Sellbrite?

Everlyst sits in a different lane than keyword tools like Marmalead and eRank - those focus on research and competitor data, Everlyst focuses on actually editing your catalog at scale. Compared to bulk-edit / multichannel tools like Vela and Sellbrite, Everlyst is priced lower at every tier (free vs $0–free, $9 vs $20+, $15 vs $29+) and is built specifically for Etsy with review-first guardrails. The free tier alone matches or beats most paid tiers from competitors for solo Etsy sellers.

What's the actual difference between Free, Basic, Starter, and Pro?

Free gets you a synced catalog, inline editing, CSV export, and limited bulk editing on a few fields. Basic ($9/mo) unlocks full bulk editing on every important field - price, quantity, shipping profile, section, renewal type - plus a diff preview, advanced filters, full renewal report, transaction analytics (90 days), and 50 monthly listing creations. Starter ($15/mo) adds renewal anomaly flags, dead-stock alerts on every listing, full unlimited analytics with Pareto and seasonal breakdowns, cross-listing variation editing, bulk image management, and 200 monthly creations. Pro ($28/mo) adds pricing intelligence, bulk video management, seasonal scheduling, review follow-up automation, and unlimited listing creation. Each tier keeps everything below it.

Can I switch plans whenever I want?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated - you only pay the difference for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period so you don't lose access you've already paid for. There's no penalty, no minimum commitment, and no "you're locked in" small print.

Do I need to give a credit card to start?

No. The free plan is genuinely free - no card, no trial expiration, no nag screens. You only enter payment details if you decide to upgrade.

What happens if I hit a limit on the free plan?

You'll see a clear in-app message that you've hit the cap (e.g. you've used your 5 monthly listing creations or your 3 Backup & Restore snapshots). Existing data stays untouched - Everlyst never deletes your snapshots or rolls back your edits. You can either wait for the next month's reset or upgrade in two clicks.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Billing in one click. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account drops back to the free tier. Your catalog sync, snapshots, and CSV exports stay accessible at the free tier - nothing is deleted.

Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-period?

Monthly plans aren't prorated on cancellation - you keep access through the end of the period you paid for, then drop to free. For annual plans, if you cancel within 14 days of the initial purchase, contact support and we'll refund the full annual fee. After 14 days, annual plans aren't refundable, but you keep access for the full year you paid for.

How much do I save by paying annually instead of monthly?

Annual billing is roughly 22% off across every paid tier. Basic is $84/yr (vs $108 monthly = $7/mo equivalent), Starter is $132/yr (vs $180 monthly = $11/mo equivalent), Pro is $264/yr (vs $336 monthly = $22/mo equivalent). For most shops the annual save is one or two months free per year.

What payment methods does Everlyst accept?

All major credit and debit cards through Stripe - Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and most regional cards Stripe supports. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available at checkout. ACH and wire transfers are reserved for annual plans on request.

Who owns my data, and what happens if I cancel?

You own everything. Your listing data is your data - Everlyst never sells, shares, or trains on it. After cancellation we keep your account in a recoverable state for 30 days in case you change your mind. After that, the data is purged from our systems. CSV export is available at every tier including free, so you can take everything with you whenever you want.

Is my Etsy connection secure?

Everlyst uses official Etsy OAuth with the narrowest API scopes the platform allows for the features you use. Your Etsy password is never seen or stored by Everlyst - OAuth means Etsy handles authentication, and you can revoke Everlyst's access from your Etsy account settings at any time. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest.

What kind of support do I get on each tier?

Free and Basic tiers get email support with a 24–48h response on weekdays. Starter and Pro get priority email with a same-business-day response and access to the founder for substantive product feedback. Every tier - including free - gets the same product reliability, the same uptime, and the same access to documentation and help articles.

Do you offer a discount for students, teachers, or nonprofits?

Yes. Verified students with a .edu email and registered nonprofits get a substantial discount on any paid tier. See /student-discount for eligibility details and how to apply.

Will the price ever go up after I subscribe?

If we ever change pricing on a tier you're already subscribed to, you're grandfathered at your current price for as long as you stay subscribed continuously. New customers may sign up at a different price; you keep yours.

Can I try Pro features before committing?

The free tier doesn't time-limit - but for paid features, the cleanest "try before you buy" is the monthly plan. One month of Basic is $9, Starter is $15, Pro is $28, and you can downgrade or cancel any time. We'd rather you pay one honest month than fight a 14-day trial countdown.

Is Everlyst affiliated with Etsy?

No. Everlyst is an independent application built on the Etsy API. Etsy doesn't endorse, sponsor, or operate Everlyst. The connection between your shop and Everlyst happens through Etsy's official OAuth and API, the same way every approved third-party Etsy app works.

Still deciding?

Start free. No card, no trial timer.

The free tier isn't a teaser - it's a usable tool for sellers under ~30 listings. Upgrade only when you outgrow it.
