Why it matters
Bulk Edit is perfect when the same value belongs on every listing - one price, one tag, one section. But plenty of edits aren’t uniform. You want to touch the same field across forty listings and give each a slightly different value - a distinct title, a price that varies by product, a section that depends on the item.
Doing that in Bulk Edit means forty separate operations. Doing it in a spreadsheet means leaving the app. Advanced Edit is the middle path - a focused, full-page workspace where one field lines up across every selected listing and each row is yours to set.
One field, every listing, still individual
Pick a field and every listing you selected appears in a single editable column. Work straight down it, correcting values row by row. When a batch move would help, the usual tools are right there - find-and-replace, prepend and append, copy one listing’s value to the rest, adjust prices by a percentage - but nothing stops you reaching back in to fix a single row before you apply. That combination, batch speed with per-row control, is the whole point.
Safe by design
Listings with variations keep their price and quantity in the Variations tool, so Advanced Edit won’t flatten a varied listing’s inventory. Every change runs through the same reviewed queue and automatic snapshot as the rest of your bulk work, which means a mistake is one click from undone. Advanced Edit is available on Basic and up.

Select and open
Pick the listings you want from All Listings, then open Advanced Edit.

Choose a field
Select the field to work on. Every selected listing shows its current value in an editable column.

Tune or batch
Edit rows individually, or use find-and-replace, copy-down, and set/adjust tools to move the whole set at once.

Review and apply
Confirm the changes and apply. A snapshot is saved so you can roll back any time.
