How scheduling works in Everlyst
Scheduling lets you queue a bulk edit, listing activation, or CSV upload to run at a future date and time. The job is held in Everlyst until the scheduled moment, then runs automatically. Currently scheduling is a Pro-plan feature.
Scheduling lets you queue an operation now and have Everlyst run it later - useful for seasonal launches, time-zone coordination, and not having to be at your computer at 6am on Black Friday.
What you can schedule
- Bulk edits (any fields your plan allows)
- Listing activations and deactivations (e.g. activate a holiday collection at midnight)
- CSV uploads (queue tonight’s bulk creation to fire tomorrow morning)
- Backup & Restore operations (rare but supported)
How to schedule a job
- Build the operation as you normally would (bulk edit, CSV upload, etc.).
- On the confirmation screen, instead of clicking Apply now, click Schedule for later.
- Pick a date and time. Everlyst defaults to your account’s time zone - check the dropdown if you’re scheduling for a buyer-facing event in a different region.
- Click Schedule.
The job appears in Schedule → Upcoming with a countdown.
What happens at the scheduled time
- Everlyst executes the job exactly as it would if you’d clicked Apply now when you scheduled it.
- The same validation runs - if Etsy rejects something, you get a per-row report and an email.
- A snapshot is taken before changes (Backup & Restore applies to scheduled jobs too).
- You get an email when the job completes.
What to watch for
- Catalog drift - if you scheduled a bulk edit and then made other changes to those listings between scheduling and execution, the scheduled job operates on the latest state. Double-check the diff preview before scheduling.
- Etsy outages - if Etsy’s API is down at the scheduled time, Everlyst retries for up to 30 minutes. After that, the job is marked failed and you get an email.
- Time zones - always confirm the time zone shown in the scheduler. Etsy displays times in your shop’s time zone; Everlyst uses your account’s time zone.
Cancelling a scheduled job
Open Schedule → Upcoming, find the job, click Cancel. Cancellation is instant. No partial execution - either the whole job runs at the scheduled time or it doesn’t run at all.
Plan availability
Scheduling is a Pro-plan feature. Free, Basic, and Starter plans run jobs immediately on confirmation. See Plans, upgrades, and downgrades for plan details.
