How to export your catalog to CSV
From the Listings page, click Export → CSV. Choose which fields to include (or "all fields") and which listings (filtered selection or full catalog). Everlyst generates the file and downloads it to your browser.
CSV export gives you your full Etsy catalog as a spreadsheet you own. Use it for backups, bulk-edit drafts, accounting, or just to see your data in one view.
Step-by-step
- Go to Listings.
- (Optional) Filter or search to narrow down the listings you want to export. Skip this to export everything.
- Click Export → CSV in the toolbar.
- Choose your column set:
- Quick (recommended for editing) - title, price, quantity, tags, section, renewal type, state.
- All fields - every field Etsy exposes, including attributes, materials, shipping profile, processing profile, image URLs, and timestamps.
- Custom - pick the columns you want.
- Click Generate CSV. The file downloads to your browser as
everlyst-export-<shop>-<date>.csv.
What’s in the export
The “all fields” export includes:
- IDs (listing ID, shop ID - used to round-trip back into Everlyst)
- All editable fields (title, description, price, quantity, tags, materials, attributes, section, processing/shipping profile, renewal type, return policy)
- Read-only metadata (state, creation date, last-modified date, view count, favorite count where Etsy exposes it)
- Image and video URLs (we don’t re-host these - the URLs point to Etsy’s CDN)
Round-tripping for bulk edits
The most common use:
- Export.
- Edit the CSV in your spreadsheet tool.
- Re-upload via Upload → Update existing listings - Everlyst matches rows by listing ID and shows you a diff before applying.
This is how power users edit hundreds of listings at once with the spreadsheet’s filtering and find/replace.
File format details
- Encoding: UTF-8 with BOM (so Excel opens it without garbling special characters).
- Delimiter: Comma. Quoted fields for values containing commas, newlines, or quotes.
- Date format: ISO 8601 (
2026-05-01T14:32:00Z). - Line endings:
\n(Unix-style) - works in Excel, Google Sheets, and Numbers.
Limits
| Plan | Export limit |
|---|---|
| All plans (including Free) | Unlimited exports. The file size scales with your catalog. |
Large catalogs (5,000+ listings with all fields) can produce CSVs over 50 MB. Excel may slow down at that size - Google Sheets handles them better, or open in a CSV-aware editor like LibreOffice or VS Code.
