Connecting your Etsy shop

How to disconnect or reconnect your Etsy shop

Last updated 1 min read

Quick answer

Settings → Connected shops → Disconnect to revoke. To reconnect, click Connect Etsy shop and re-approve the OAuth permissions. Your Everlyst data (saved filters, snapshots, account settings) is preserved between disconnects.

Sometimes you need to disconnect and reconnect - to switch the shop owner’s Etsy login, to refresh a stale token, or to test the OAuth flow before recommending Everlyst to a teammate.

To disconnect

  1. Sign in to Everlyst.
  2. Open Settings → Connected shops.
  3. Click Disconnect next to the shop.
  4. Confirm.

The disconnect is immediate. Etsy invalidates the token, and Everlyst can no longer read or modify the shop.

What happens to your data when you disconnect

DataWhat happens
Your Everlyst accountStays open. You can sign back in any time.
Cached listing dataRetained for 30 days, then purged.
Backup & Restore snapshotsRetained per your plan’s retention window.
Saved filters and viewsRetained indefinitely on your account.
Pending bulk jobsCancelled immediately - no further changes are sent to Etsy.
BillingContinues until you cancel your subscription separately.

To reconnect

  1. From the dashboard, click Connect Etsy shop.
  2. Sign in to Etsy.
  3. Re-approve the same permissions (see What permissions does Everlyst request and why).
  4. A fresh sync runs to refresh the cached catalog.

If you reconnect within 30 days, your saved filters, views, and snapshots are still there. After 30 days, listing-level data is purged and the reconnect runs a clean sync.

Switching to a different Etsy account

To connect a different Etsy account (e.g. you transferred shop ownership):

  1. Disconnect the current shop.
  2. Sign out of Etsy in the same browser.
  3. Click Connect Etsy shop in Everlyst.
  4. Sign in to Etsy with the new account.

To cancel your Everlyst subscription

Disconnecting your shop does not cancel billing. See Cancelling your subscription for the separate steps.
